Ware, Margaret “Mickey” Margaret “Mickey” Ware, age 73, of Stratford, beloved wife of Douglas Ware, died on Monday, December 24, 2012 at her home with her loving family at her side. Mickey was born in Bridgeport to the late Roger and Margaret (Hobson) Bailey. She was a graduate of Stratford High School and had worked at Bradlees in Stratford for many years. Her grandchildren put a smile on her face every time she spoke of them. She enjoyed travels to Europe with her husband and Ireland was her favorite country to visit. She and Doug also spent fun times at Mohegan Sun with many friends and saw many special shows there. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her beloved daughter, Lynn Nightingale of Stratford; three cherished grandchildren, Andrew, Brett and Courtney; two loving sisters and their husbands, Bea and Sam Trompetta and Gen and Bob Fox, all of Stratford; two sisters-in-law, Ginger Ware of Stratford and Patricia Ware of New York; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Jimmy Ware; two brothers, Roger and Robert “Mo” Bailey; and two brothers-in-law, Don Ware and William Chapman. Mickey had requested that all services be held privately with immediate family.
