The funeral will be July 19 for Marian L. Ware of Eugene, who died July 14 of age-related causes. She was 88. Ware was born Oct. 3, 1916, in Denver to Ralph and Martha Swanstrom Nissen. She married Gordon Ware in Eugene on July 3, 1938. He died Jan. 1, 1980. She lived in Los Angeles and Denver during her childhood. Ware completed high school and beauty school. She lived in Eugene for more than 70 years. Ware enjoyed sewing, gardening and crafts. Survivors include four sons, Gordon of Albany, Robert of Corvallis, Richard of Springfield and Michael of Hillsboro; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today, July 18, at Poole-Larsen Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Poole-Larsen. Entombment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Poole-Larsen Funeral Home in Eugene is in charge of arrangements.
