SPRINGFIELD – The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 16, at Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home for Richard Allen Ware of Springfield, who died June 9 of cancer. He was 63. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. He was born Feb. 14, 1947, in Eugene to Gordon and Marion Nissen Ware. He married Sharon Hinkley on April 26, 1999, in Eugene. He graduated from Willamette High School and attended Oregon State University. He served in the U.S. Army and worked in car sales. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Shawn of Springfield and Chris of Beaverton; a daughter, Leslie Ware of Springfield; his former wife, Marsha Robinson Ware; three brothers, Gordon and Sam, both of Corvallis, and Mike of Hillsboro; and two grandchildren.
