JoAnne Judson Ware, 56, of 1797 Schoolcraft Road, Sterling, died Friday. She was born in Long Beach, Calif. She was a dental technician at Veterans Affairs Medical Center and University Hospital in Syracuse. Survivors: Her companion, Paul Karkruff; two daughters, Sheila Hammond of California and Brooke Rowlee-Clark of Fulton; a son, Maj. Elon K. Rowlee III of Clayton; her mother, Ruth Yarrow Mader of Largo, Fla.; a brother, Timothy Judson of Herndon, Va.; six grandchildren. Services: 8 p.m. Tuesday at Foster Funeral Home. Calling hours, 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
