Frances “Betty” Ware passed away April 22, 2003 at her home. She was born in Dexter, KS., on September 20, 1908. The eldest of seven children, she is survived by her sisters, Lucille Moyer and Ruth Hendricks; and by her children, Linda Ware and Mark Ware of Black Forest, CO. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed worldwide travel. She will be missed by her family and friends for the goodness of her heart, her level-headed common sense, and for her amazing fried chicken. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 3, 2003, at 11:00 a.m., at The Black Forest Community Church.
