Effie Ware Forte Obituary, 2013

Effie Ware Forte, 54, of Bowling Green, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013, at her residence. The Owenton native was the daughter of the late C. W. Ware and Hazel Sanders Ware. She was Director of Environmental Services for The Medical Center at Bowling Green, a Mary Kay consultant and a member of Park Ridge Baptist Church in Sparta. Effie is survived by her husband of 30 years, Tom Forte. Also surviving are four sisters, Joyce Travis (Carl) of Burlington, Brenda Nevels (Michael) of Florence, Carolyn Brown (Benjamin) of Indianapolis and Trisha Lowery (Charles) of Chattanooga, Tenn.; eight brothers, Ray Ware (Paula) of Indianapolis, Billy Ware (Valerie) of Jeffersonville, Ind., Junie Ware (Carol) of Florence, Moe Ware of Owenton, Doug Ware (Inez) of Spring Hill, Fla., Jerome Ware (Lisa) of New York, Chris Ware of Orlando, Fla., Tony Ware of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation is from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel and from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at State Street Baptist Church, with service at 11 a.m. at the church.
