Helen Caroline Ware Obituary, 2002

Helen Caroline Ware of Auburn died Jan. 20, 2002, in Auburn. She was 88. Born Nov. 2, 1913, in Auburn, Mrs. Ware graduated from Cherekee High School in Cherekee, Iowa. At the age of 18, she returned to Auburn, where she spent the rest of her life. She married Marvin W. Ware in 1935. She worked as a homemaker, and was a past member of Zion Lutheran Church in Auburn. She was a charter member of New Hope Lutheran Church and volunteered at the church Food Pantry in Pacific. She volunteered at the Auburn Senior Center for 22 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin W. Ware. She is survived by her daughters, Suzanne Crow of Enumclaw, and Judy Moore and Linda Reilly, both of Auburn; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at New Hope Lutheran Church in Pacific. Inurnment will be at Mountain View Cemetery in Auburn. Memorials may be made to New Hope Lutheran Church. Arrangements are by Price-Helton Funeral Home in Auburn.
