Annie Lou Ware Obituary, 2007

CHEROKEE SPRINGS, SC — Annie Lou Ware, 86, of Cherokee Springs, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 5, 2007, at White Oak Estates. Born July 6, 1921, in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Christian and Annie Warren Ware. She was retired from Stone’s Drug Store in Cowpens and was a member of Cherokee Springs Baptist Church. She suffered with multiple sclerosis her entire life but never complained. She loved life and was always so sweet to everyone she met. Because she always kept God in her life, she had a sense of peace within her.

Survivors include a brother, William J. Ware of Cherokee Springs; a sister, Nell W. Tomko of Inman; three nephews, Ronnie Ware, Bob Williams, and Tommy Williams; four nieces, Betty Frye, Peggy Ledford, Charlene Robertson, and Susan Adair; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph and Jesse Ware; and a sister, Vivian W. Williams.

Visitation will be 1:30-2:45 PM Wednesday, November 7, 2007, at Cherokee Springs Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM at the Church conducted by the Rev. Bill Lark. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
