CHEROKEE SPRINGS — Helen Georgia “Nannie” Yarborough Ware, 68, of 219 Ware Road, died Feb. 17, 1998, at her home.
A native of Enoree, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Lucinda Moore Yarborough and adopted daughter of the late Joseph M. and Ethel Gossett Rodgers. She was a member of Cherokee Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, William J. “Bill” Ware; a son, Ronnie Ware of Cherokee Springs; a daughter, Charlene W. Robertson of Gaffney; a sister, Annie Mae Broirllard of Havelock, N.C.; two brothers, Clyde Yarborough of Moore and Russell Yarborough of Woodruff; three grandsons, two stepgrandchildren, and one stepgreat-grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Cherokee Springs Baptist Church, conducted by the Revs. Bill Lark and J. Edward Bullington. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
