GREENVILLE – A graveside services for Henry Louis Ware, 96, formerly of Larkspur Drive, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 14, 2001, in Dunns Creek Baptist Church in Brevard, N.C. Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown Chapel is in charge.

Mr. Ware died Thursday, July 5, 2001. Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Dr. James Robert Ware and Eliza Dargan Ware and the husband of the late Cecelia Brophy Ware. He was a graduate of Furman University, Class of 1927. He was a trust officer with Chase Manhattan Bank, New York City for 23 years. He then returned to Greenville where he participated in the landscaping of the new Furman University campus, and later, Exxon stations of the Upstate.

Surviving are his sister, Mary Ware Vorus of Brevard, NC; and several nieces and nephews.
