James Everett Ware Obituary, 2012

James (Jimmy) Ware passed away peacefully on November 5, 2012, after a lengthy illness and several strokes. He was born on September 22, 1943, in Harlem, GA, to Pearl Allgood Ware and Eakes Ware, the ninth of ten children. Jimmy was raised in Savannah, GA, and South Gate, CA. He moved to Charleston as a young man. He was employed by Charleston Steel Erectors and Ashley Steel, and later worked in Historical Home Renovations. Jimmy was always a pleasure to be around with a ready smile and a helping hand. He was pre-deceased by his parents and sister, Marie Wooten and brothers-in-law, James Hanniford, Bernie Dalton, Jack Freeman, Jimmy Bridges, Louis Wooten and Robbie McVicar. Surviving are sisters, Edna Hanniford, Jackie Bridges, Betty Freeman, Mickey Renshaw (George), Nita McVicar, Nell Dalton, and Brenda Elritz (Doug). Jimmy had many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. A heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staffs on the 5th floor of St. Frances Hospital and Hospice of Charleston. A family service will be held in California on November 10, 2012.
