Services for Mattie Bell Ware will be held at 3:30 p.m. today at Jones Chapel Baptist Church, with burial in St. Mary Cemetery. House of Thomas Funeral Home is in charge.

Ms. Ware died Monday. Born in Dillon, she was a daughter of the late Jake and Ethel Carmichael. She was the wife of the late Rev. Grady Ware, and she was a member of Jones Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.

Surviving are her daughters, Glenda Ware Battle of Laurinburg, Annette Ware Battle and Jeanette Ware Ford of Dillon; six grandchildren.
