Bill Ware, 92, of Monette died Tuesday, Jan. 15, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. A lifelong resident of the Buffalo Island area, he was a retired farmer and a member of Monette Church of Christ.

Survivors include one daughter, Louise Benton of Monette; two grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Gregg Funeral Home Chapel in Monette, with Millard Scott officiating. Burial will be in Macey Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Sonny Wimberly, Leland Bronaugh, Byron Sparkman, Nippy Mangrum, Tim Mangrum and Bret Benton.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
