PERCY T. WARE, 91, of Surf Avenue, North Wildwood, died Tuesday in Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, Cape May Court House.
A resident of North Wildwood for 35 years, he formerly lived in Philadelphia.
Mr. Ware was a 1918 graduate of the University of Maine and a civil engineer by profession. Among his projects were the Grand Coulee Dam in Washington State and Tiger Dam in Georgia.
He was a member of the Men’s Republican Club of North Wildwood.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth; his son, Edward Gegenheimer of Philadelphia; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, Wildwood, where friends may call from 10 a.m.
Mass cards would be appreciated by the family.
