Memorial services for Cassandra “Sandy” Joyce Ware, 65, of Sugartown, will be held at 2 p.m. on March 16 at Sugartown Baptist Church.

She was born on Feb. 12, 1948, to Albert Donald Henry and Ruby Smith Henry, at Blue Mountain, Miss. Sandy lived in Sugartown most of her life. She was a homemaker, loved her dogs and being outside. She passed from this life on March 13, 2013, at DeRidder.

Survivors include one son, John Lee Hester and wife Jennifer of DeRidder; two brothers, Wayne Jackson of Sugartown, and Billy Thomas Henry of Mittie; three sisters, Gail James of Pitkin, Dale Forsythe of Tahlequah, Okla. and Nina McDaniel of Merryville; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
