Henry Ware, a self-employed cement finisher, died Monday of cardiac arrest at his home. He was 44. Mr. Ware was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. He was a graduate of George Washington Carver High School. Survivors include his companion, Irene Goldsmith; a daughter, Alma Lee Ferdinand; and six brothers, Louis J., Lloyd, Nathaniel, James, Larry and Philip John Ware. A funeral will be held today at 9:30 a.m. at Majestic Mortuary, 1833 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd. Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.
