Maude Ware Lake Obituary, 1993

Died 7 p.m. Saturday, July 17, 1993, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 92, a native of Walker and resident of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, and 8 a.m. to religious services at 10 a.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Chris Andrews. Burial in Palmetto Cemetery, Walker. Survived by a son, Robert Percy Ware, Huntsville, Ala.; a sister, Coela Ware Desselle, Baton Rouge; four grandchildren, Martha Avery, Ashville, N.C., Stephen and James Ware, both of Yosemite Village, Calif., and Patricia Heller, Smyrna, Tenn.; several great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a nephew, John Desselle, Baton Rouge. Preceded in death by husband, William Joseph Lake; parents, John Robert and Martha Olivia Melton Ware; four brothers, Ausbin “Buddy”, John, Lee and Robert Ware; and a sister, Winnie Ware. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Baton Rouge.
