Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Opelousas, LA, for Mrs. Victoria Tezeno Ware, 91, who entered eternal rest, Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Acadia St. Landry Hospital in Church Point, LA. Interment will be in Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas, LA. Rev. Jaison Mangalath, S.V.D. will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial. Mrs. Ware is survived by her daughters, Rosemary Ware Martel (Patrick) of Schaumburg, IL, Jeanette Ware Noel of Opelousas, LA and Evelyn Ware-Jackson of Baton Rouge, LA; a granddaughter she reared, Angelic Brown (Dwight) of Opelousas, LA; a former son-in-law, Wendell P. Jackson of Baton Rouge, LA; a brother, Allen Tezeno of Gardenia, CA; two sisters, Theresa T. Harris of Metairie, LA and Octavia T. Malveaux of Warner Robins, GA; a former sister-in-law, Marcella Tezeno of Long Beach, CA; 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a host of extended family members and friends. Mrs. Ware was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roger Ware; her parents, John Tezeno & Victoria Edwards Tezeno; two brothers, Hosea Tezano and Morris Tizano.
