Fletis Ware, 78, of Malvern, died Friday, July 30, 2004 in Mercy Medical Center following a short illness. Born in Belington, WV, May 30, 1926, he was the son of the late Cecil and Blanch (Phares) Ware. He worked as a P.I.T. at Monarch Rubber-Telydine for over twenty-eight years retiring in 1978. He was a member of St. Martin Lutheran Church in Malvern, Local Union 99 and was a Rambler Car Collector.
He is survived by his wife Marie (Shire) Ware, son David (Ginger) N. Ware of Georgia; daughter Beverly (Mike) Knife of Alliance; stepsons Robert (Diane) Wirkner of Carrollton, Karl H. Wirkner of New Mexico, stepdaughter Rea Y. (Randy) Bondor of Canton; brothers Max Ware of Alliance, Bernie Ware of Alliance, Cecil Ware of New Franklin, Tom Ware of Belington, WV; sister Geraldine Potts of Alliance; seventeen grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, son Jeffrey Lynn Ware, grandson Jonathan Knife, granddaughter Rachel Anderson and brother Lonnie Ware.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 4, 2004 in the Deckman-Bartley Funeral Home, Malvern with Rev. A. Wallace Anderson and Fr. Victor Cinson officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery in Belington, WV. Calling hours will be held in Deckman-Bartley Funeral Home, Tuesday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
