Jay G. Ware, 84, passed away surrounded by his loving family on November 24, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was deeply loved by family and friends. He also loved and cared for many.

He was born March 11, 1928 in Blue Ridge, Georgia, to Homer and Bertha (Flowers) Ware.

He is survived by his wife, Marie (Cole) Ware; sons, Joseph (LouAnne) Ware, Billy Cole, and Alvin Cole, all of Akron; daughters, Ethelene (Danny) Ensley, Viola Patterson, and Devina (Cecil) Lee, all of Blue Ridge; and by many nephews, nieces, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Adams Mason Funeral Home (791 E. Market Street, Akron). Final funeral and burial will take place in Blue Ridge.
