MSG David Ray Ware (Ret), age 60, of Battlefield, Mo., passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2007, in his home in Battlefield, Mo. He was born April 11, 1947, in Sandy, Utah, the son of Amasa and Stella (Bearden) Ware. He was preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter, Alison Cross. He is survived by his wife Lucienne (Gehring) Ware, of the home; three daughters, Tiffany Ware of Norfolk, Va., Heather Ware of Springfield, Mo., and Davia Ware of Battlefield, Mo.; one sister, Colene Ware of Los Gatos, Calif., one brother, Max Ware of Draper, Utah; and eight grandchildren, Holly and Sean Cross, Daniel and Zachary Ware, and Cullen, Caleb and Shannon Dobbins. Arrangements are being handled by Walnut Lawn Funeral Home LTD, 2001 W. Walnut Lawn St., Springfield, Mo., where the family will recieve friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today in the Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Saturday, December 29 in the Walnut Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. Interment with full military honors will be in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, Mo., at a later date.
