William E. “Bill” Ware, 70, of New Kensington, died Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016, at Allegheny Health Network Hospice, Pittsburgh, surrounded by his loving family. He was born Nov. 17, 1945, in Scottdale, a son of Lucan K. and Margaret Elizabeth McClain Ware. Bill was raised in the Scottdale and Mt. Pleasant area before moving to New Kensington in 1970. He was employed over the years for Perriello Produce, Golden Dawn and John Ross Fruit Company, before retiring as a courier for the Alle-Kiski Medical Center in 2010. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, drawing and being outdoors. He was an active member of the NRA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Overly. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Georgean “Tiney” Kremer Ware; son, David (Kathy Pavlik) Ware; daughter, Jeannine (Daniel Hamilton) Ware; grandchildren, Ashley “Ash on the Flash”, David “Davie”, Jonathan “G”, Kaley “Button Eyes”, Lorin “Twinkle Toes”, Danyca “Download Danyca” and Daliyah “Dally Do”; siblings, Galen (Lisa) Ware, Molly (Phil) Brouillette, Wendy (Leslie) Myers, Wilma (Donald) Myers and Randy (Vanessa) Ware; also survived by five nieces and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family and friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 14, 2016, in the JOSEPH J. CARDARO FUNERAL HOME, a service oriented funeral home, 1125 Kenneth Ave., New Kensington, 724-337-3325. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 15, 2016, in the funeral home with the Rev. Carmen Butler officiating. Burial will be private.
