Charles A. Ware, 88 died at his home here at 6 O’clock this morning after one moth of failing health. He was a retired farmer. Mr. Ware was born on July 6-1861, at Sidney Ohio, the son of Jonathan Ware and Mrs. Classisy Bennett Ware. He was married to Miss Carrie L. Shaw on October 15, 1885 in McPherson, and she is one of the survivors. He had lived in Canton for the last 20 years. Other survivors include one son, Earl R. Ware, Canton Kansas, one daughter Mrs. Edith Jones, Colby; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced later by the Quiring Funeral Home in McPherson Kansas.
