Eugene “Gene” Ware, 71, of Brinktown, died Thursday, January 8, 2004, in Columbia Regional Hospital.

He was born October 25, 1932 in Jefferson City, a son of George and Rene Deweese Ware.

Survivors include: his wife, Joan Ware of the home, Brinktown; one son, George Ware, Brinktown; one daughter, Mary Ware, Brinktown; two brothers, Bob Ware, Desloge, MO and James McLain, Iberia; one sister, Marie Ware, St. Louis; two grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., Sunday in the Vienna Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Vienna Cemetery.
