Howard Orlin Ware Obituary, 2005

“Howard Orlin Ware, 65, Savannah, died Monday Oct 24, 2005, in a St. Joseph Hospital. He was born April 8, 1940, on the family farm near Barnard; the son of Orlin and Lois Davidson Ware. He graduated from Graham High School.

He married Vinita Stevenson July 20, 1963, in Enid, OK. She survives of the home. He served in the Air Force from 1959 to 1963. He attained a pilot’s license in 1988 and belonged to the Trailwinds Flying Club and Teamster’s Union. He was an over-the-road truck driver, retiring in 1999.

He is also survived by two sons, Rodney Ware of Savannah and Steven Ware of Parkville; two daughters, Brenda Brown of Rolla and Lori Dunlap of Poplar Buff; a sister, Neva Everett of Barnard; and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services were Friday at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah. Burial with military was at Bethany Cemetery, near Barnard.
