John H. Ware, Sr., 66, Kansas City, Ks., died March 9, 1995, at the Edwardsville Convalescence Center. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 13, at 11 a.m. at the Maple Hill Funeral Home, Kansas City, Ks.; burial Maple Hill Cemetery, Kansas City, Ks. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Ware was born in Kansas City, Mo. and had lived in this area most of his life. He was a boilermaker for Local w83 for 40 years, retiring in 1989. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Ida Ware, of the home; son, John H. Ware, Jr., Kansas City, Ks.; daughters, Sabrine Kernes and Dorothy Maskel, both of Kansas City, Ks.; brothers, Forrest Ware, Greeley, Ks., and Charles Ware, Tonganoxie, Ks.; sisters, Berniece Linden, Mt. Home, Ark., and Ruth Ruehl, Calamet, Ill.; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
