Lois E. Ware, 89, Kansas City, Mo., died Thursday, June 24, 1999, at Research Medical Center.

Mrs. Ware was born April 6, 1910, in Minona, Ia. and has a daughter, Arline Wederski, living in Independence.

She worked as a clerk/tailor at the Emery-Bird-Thayer Co.

Other survivors include her husband, Frank Ware, of the home; one son, Raymond L. Valentine, Kansas City; another daughter, Dorine Campbell, Kansas City; and two sisters, Dorothy Richards, Belton, Mo., and Ruth Sowers, Laramie, Wy; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Webb-Freer Funeral Home. Friends may call between 6 and 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
