Hamrick, Mildred L., 91, of Moundsville, WV, died Thursday, February 19, 2009 in Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, WV.
She was born March 26, 1917 in Webster Springs, WV, a daughter of the late Harman and Lenora Ware Fisher. Mrs. Hamrick was a homemaker and a member of the House of Prayer, Moundsville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, French J. Hamrick; three brothers, Charles E., Maynard D. and Thomas Fisher; four sisters, Emily Arthurs, Stella Cutlip, Dea Cogar and Jewel Fincham.
Surviving are two nieces, Janet (Bill) Judge of Moundsville and Rita Garvin of Warren, OH; a nephew, E. A. Cutlip of Louisa, VA; five great-nieces, April Judge, Joyce O’Toole, Sandra Crane, Linda (Harry) Helmick and Connie (Marty) Kronander; two great-nephews, David Crane and Rick (Carrie) Garvin; several great-great-nieces and nephews.
Friends received 4-8 pm Sunday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Ave., Moundsville, where services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, February 23, 2009 with Pastor Ray Blake officiating..
Interment in Halcyon Hills Memorial Park, Sherrard, WV.
