A funeral for Fairy Ella Ware, 76, is set for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.

Dr. Claybon Lea Jr. will officiate.

Mrs. Ware died April 2, 2002, in Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Oakland.

Born July 1, 1925, in Ogden, Ark., she lived in Fairfield for 30 years. She was a homemaker for more than 57 years and was active with her church.

Mrs. Ware is survived by her husband, James J. of Fairfield; daughters, Victoria Graham of San Jose and Velma Isaac of Oakland; son, James Jr. of Stockton; sister, Fredonia Cooper of San Diego; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paris and Lena Green.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Solano Valley Mortuary, with a wake from 7 to 8 p.m.

Burial will be at Sunrise Cemetery.
