Services for Harvey Ware, 83, were April 20, 2009, at New Haven Baptist Church in Weir with the Revs. Robby Parish and Jim Ballard officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Born Dec. 27, 1925, he was a plumber and pipe fitter, and a member of New Haven Baptist Church. Mr. Ware was also a member of the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union No. 619 for more than 50 years. He died April 17, 2009, at his residence in Weir.

Survivors include his wife, Christine Ware of Weir; two sons, Jim Ware of Huntsville, Ala., and Randy Ware of Dalton, Ga.; a sister, Mary Sue Hoskins of Kilmichael; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Larry Greenlee, Jeffrey Hutchinson, Brian Lucas, Earl Lucas, Tony Ware and Keith Ware.

Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora was in charge of arrangements.
