“OKOLONA – James Thomas Ware, 92,died Sunday, September 24, 1995,in Chicago,Illinois. The son of the late Tom and Mary Willie Ware he was born March 19, 1903 in Chickasaw County, Mississippi. He was retired from the Pepsi Cola Company and United Parcel Service in Chicago. He was the widower of Oguerita Bogan Ware.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Chapel Grove West M. B. Church with the Rev. Lendell Nicholas officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Williams Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include two sons, Jessie Ware and David Ware, both of Chicago, Ill.; four daughters, Mary Edwards, Mary Rhoden, Erlene Rufus and Harriette Ware, all of Chicago, Ill.;one brother, Willie “Billy” Ware of Okolona; two sisters, Addine Judd and Lillie Mae Moore of Chicago,Ill.;29 grandchildren;31 great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandchild.
Visitation will begin at noon today at the funeral home. A wake will be held at 7 p.m.. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services.
Pallbearers will be Al Clark, Hosie Bogan, Curtis Swing, Dallas Swing, Grant Bogan, Thomas Grady Lee Bogan and Charlie Eddie.”
