LAKE–Jessie D. Ware, 76, passed away on Friday, August 1, 2008, at Lackey Memorial Hospital in Forest. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 4, 2008, at the chapel of Wolf Funeral Services in Morton. The Rev. Larry Duncan and Dr. Leon Everett officiated the services. Wolf Funeral Services of Morton was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Ware was a native of Scott County, living in the Salem Community since 1978. He was a member of Goodhope Baptist Church in Lake. He loved his family, farming and sharing life with others.

Mr. Ware was preceded in death by his wife, Reba Ware and parents, Davis and Annie Lois Ware, sister, Peggy Joyce Ware.

He is survived by one daughter, Jessica Ware; and one son, Boyd Ware (Donna) both of Lake; four brothers, Bill Ware, Ben Ware (Maude), Jim Ware (Bessie) and Ed Ware, all of Lake; a sister-in-law, Mayblane Elkins of Thornsby, Ala; one granddaughter, Katie Ware of Lake; a special friend, Betty Hollingsworth of Lake; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Pallbearers were Greg Ware, Brad Ware, Steve Ware, Danny Ware, Brian Elkins and Jonathan Frederick. Honorary pallbearers were Harold Wolfe, Larry Judge, Kenneth Elkins and Randall Edwards.
