Lewis Andrew Ware Obituary, 1993

Services for Lewis Andrew Ware, 86, will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside. He died of a heart attack Saturday in Atlanta, Ga.

Friends may call from 5 until 9 p.m. today at Acheson and Graham Garden of Prayer Chapel in Riverside. Burial will be in Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Park in Riverside.

Mr. Ware, who was born in Haggarville, Ark., lived in Riverside for 47 years. He was co-owner of L & M Friction Materials in Riverside for the past seven years and previously co-owner of L & M Frame & Axle, also in Riverside, from 1947 until 1985.

He served in the U.S. Navy Seabees during World War II.

Mr. Ware enjoyed fishing and was a world traveler.

He was a member of Gideon’s International of Riverside and Harvest Christian Fellowship.

Mr. Ware is survived by his wife, Mildred; three daughters, Marsha Sydow, Nancy Woodard and Jeanette Erwin, all of Riverside; a son, Charles of Moreno Valley; 13 grandchildren; and a sister, Mabel Pagel of Roseville.
