Lillie B. Ware Obituary, 2008

Lillie B. Ware, 90, died Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008, at the Aurora Australis Nursing Home, Columbus. Lillie B. Ware was born June 17, 1918, in Port Arthur, Texas, to the late Lizzie Ann Ware and Benoni W. Williams. Mrs. Ware was a homemaker and a member of Jesus Name Church of God. Lillie B. Ware married Ooven Argene Ware, who predeceased her Oct. 20, 1993. Her son Delton Ware, daughter, Sabra Inez Williams, her grandchild, Mary Jane Habibelahn and great grandchild, Brittany Ward, also predeceased her.

Funeral services will be Sunday, Aug. 10, 2008, at 2 p.m. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Sister Mable Cooper, the Rev. James Cook and Sister Jackie Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include three daughters: Laura Ann Anderson of Tyler, Texas; Syble Faye Elmore of Starkville; Margaretta Priscilla Chambers of West Point; one son, Darrell L. Ware of West Point; 11 grandchildren: Neal Anderson, Carvin Ware, Kenneth Ware, Vincent Ware, Sheila Ware, Timothy O’Neal Peterson, William Gene Peterson, Telisa Maler, Tina Parker Ward, Kimberly Lane Chain, and Terry Lee Parker; 20 great grandchildren; one sister, Margie Ann Burrow of Bunker, Mo.; two brothers: James Williams of Bay, Ark.; Jason Williams of Trumann, Ark.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Visitation will be Saturday, 5-8 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home.
