BELLA VISTA-Roy O. Ware, 68, of Bella Vista died Jan. 30, 1994, at Redding Medical Center.

No services were conducted.

Burial was at Redding Cemetery.

Born Nov. 13, 1925, in Los Angeles, he moved to Shasta County in 1980 from Oregon.

He was a retired detective sergeant for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and was a World War II U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include son Steven and daughter Jill Mason, both of Bella Vista, and one grandchild.

Arrangements are being handled by McDonald’s Redding Chapel.
