Colleen Virginia Ware, 94, of Rockford passed away Thursday, September 4, 2014. Born January 24, 1920, in Racine, WI to Lawrence and Dorthea (Bradley) Heck. Married Fred Ware June 19, 1959, in Belvidere; he predeceased her in February 2012. Survivors include daughters, Julianne (Gary) Severson of Rockton, Patricia Kunz of Rockton; granddaughters, Andrea (Kathleen Kline) Severson, Barbara (Tom) Montgomery; great-grandchildren, Chelsea (fiance, Nick Stocks) Knight, Philip Knight, Nicole Montgomery; sister, Margaret “Peg” McCabe; and brother, Paul (Ethel) Heck. Predeceased by husband, Fred; son-in-law, Kent Kunz; and brother, Lawrence “Bud” Heck. Per Colleen’s wishes no services are to be held.
