He was the beloved husband of Tina M. (Whitney) Ware, with whom he shared 17 years of marriage.
Born in Thorndale, he was the son of the late W. Frank and Anna Mae Miller Ware.
He was a graduate of Scott High School and Retz Electronics School in Upper Darby.
Dave was the owner/operator of Ware’s TV Service in Downingtown for 40 years.
He enjoyed family life and being with his children.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Jerry D. and wife, Diane, of West Caln, and Gary V. of Gap; and by his stepdaughters, Robin Campbell of Virginia Beach, Va., Anita White and husband, Bill, of Illinois, and Angela Choinski and husband, Wayne, of Massachusetts. He is also survived by his brother, Charles F. Ware of Brunswick, Maine; and by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 6, at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown, where family and friends may call from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
Interment will be private.
