Ware, Delores Powell ‘Hattie” Our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and Church Mother, was born November 14, 1921 in Eutaw, AL and made her transition on November 27, 2013 in Chicago, IL. The Powell family lived on the Westside near Halsted and Maxwell Streets. Delores worked for Friendship Medical Center, Independence Bank, Exchange National Bank, and the National Tea Company. For many years, Delores and her husband (Ace) were members of the Evangelistic Crusaders Church of God In Christ, where he served as Associate Minister. Services: Friday, December 6, 2013 at Evangelistic Crusaders Church of God in Christ, 9046 S. Cottage Grove Avenue, Chicago, IL. Visitation: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Service: 11:00 a.m. Interment: Oakwood Cemetery.
