Gilbert Todd Ware, 52, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at his residence. Todd was born April 27, 1959, in Mt. Pleasant, a son of Keith P. and Thelma Grace Leonard Ware, of Scottdale. Todd married Carla A. Townsend, Feb. 15, 1997. Todd was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather and brother. He was a self-employed electrician and mower repairman. He enjoyed his work at Brilhart Hardware in Scottdale, where he was employed for many years. Todd was a member of the South Connellsville Sportsman’s Club and enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, cooking, cookouts and spending time with his family and granddaughter. Todd will be sadly missed by his devoted family, his wife of 14 years, Carla A. Townsend Ware; his daughter, Melissa Buschel Hertzog and her husband, Joshua, of Greensburg; his son, Todd Glenn Ware, of Mt. Pleasant; his granddaughter, Cassidy Anna Louise Hertzog; his parents, Keith P. and Thelma Grace Leonard Ware; his brother, Keith “Kip” Ware and his wife, Susan, of Ruffsdale; his two nephews, Jason Ware and his wife, Erin, and Zachary Ware and his wife, Erica; his two great-nieces, Ember and Liliana Ware; his great-nephew, Patterson Ware; his mother-in-law, Brenda Townsend; his brother-in-law, Mike Townsend and his wife, Dawn, and children, Aarron and Josh Berletich; his numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and his two close friends, Tim Gosnell and Mike Jordan.
