DECATUR – Mary Louise Ware, 88, Decatur, died 5:24 p.m. Monday (Dec. 30, 2002) in Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour before services. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown. Memorials: Scovill Zoo.

Mrs. Ware was born Sept. 10, 1914, in Vincennes, Ind., the daughter of Ward H. and Mayme Calver. She was a homemaker and attended Central Christian Church in Decatur. She was a member of St. Mary’s Hospital Auxiliary. She married Walter J. Ware on Oct. 25, 1939. He preceded her in death in 1974.

Surviving are his son, James Ware and wife Patricia of Decatur; daughter, Judith Reid of Decatur, five grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
