Jesse Lionel Ware was the son of Oliver Morton Ware and Aura Mary Price. He was born on the Woods farm located 1 & 1/8th miles East of Greentown, Indiana, at 8:10pm, weighed 9.5 lbs.

Jesse lived in Greentown until the family moved to Shelby, Indiana about 1905 where his father was the proprietor of a men’s clothing store. They lived here until about 1912 when the family moved to Los Angeles, California.

The WW1 Draft Registration Card for Jesse says he was of medium height, stout build, with blue eyes and light brown hair. No balding and no disabilities.

In the 1920 census he is the owner of a bike shop. In 1930 he was a real estate salesman and had two children, Burton J. and Ellen D. In 1940 he was the proprietor of a bike shop again and was listed as divorced.

Jesse died 6 Aug 1980 in Los Angeles, California and was buried in the Inglewood Park Cemetery, Lot 100, Plot Myrtle. The office said he was buried to the right of his sister Mona Lorena without a grave marker.
