Ruth L. Ware Mullet Obituary, 2004

Member of Upper Chichester senior club

Ruth L. Ware Mullett, 87, of Boothwyn, Upper Chichester, died last Aug. 31 at Belvedere Nursing Home in Chester.

Born in Lexington, Ky., Mullett lived most of her life in Boothwyn. She lived at the Belvedere Nursing home for the last four years.

She was the daughter of Jake and Emma Cottrell Ware and the widow of Norman H. Mullett, who died in 1988. Her son, Wayne E. Jobe, died in 1993.

Mullett devoted her life to her home and family and was an active member of the Upper Chichester Senior Citizens Club. She was the head of arts and crafts and enjoyed trips to Broadway and Atlantic City.

Survivors: Brother, Ralph Sorrell of Middletown sister, Patti Lawson of Middletown, Ohio daughter-in-law, Ruth A. Jobe of Boothwyn, who cared for her four grandchildren seven great-grandchildren two great-great-grandchildren one nephew, one niece one great-niece.

Service: 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St., Linwood, Lower Chichester.

Visitation: 5-6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial: Private.
