Helen Ware Pardee, 86, of Jacksonville, Fla., formerly of Seattle, Wash., and La Jolla and Del Mar, Calif., died Tuesday, October 31, 2006.

She was born January 1, 1920, in Washington, and was especially beloved by her family for care and attendance she gave to her parents, Howard and Nell L. Parker Ware.

Mrs. Pardee was a registered private duty nurse, and was a 1941 Washington Hospital School of Nursing graduate.

She was married to Thomas H. Pardee, who died in 1973.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Merrill (Betty J.) Love of Jacksonville, Fla.; a niece, Rebecca Love Stephens of Corpus Christi, Texas; and two nephews, Mark Love of Ames, Iowa, and Byron D. Love of Jacksonville, Fla.

As requested by Mrs. Pardee, burial will be private.
