She was born June 2, 1955, in Sewickley, and was employed by Westinghouse Corporation for 13 years before she began her career as a physical therapist assistant where she worked at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh for 16 years. She enjoyed arts and crafts including ceramics and gardening. She was also well known for her cooking. She was well-liked and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her son, Aaron Joseph Marchak, on March 30, 2006.
Sharon is survived by her life long companion, Ronald Marchak, Hopewell Township; a daughter, Tera Ann Molinaro, Carnegie; her mother, Ann (Thumm) Ware, Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Estrella Croft and her husband, Joe, Center Township, and Iris Maire and her husband, Doug, Phoenix, Ariz.; a niece and nephew, Sheena and Derek Maire; a niece, Corissa Croft; her extended family, Robert and Linda Marchak, Rich Marchak and Joseph Marchak; her dog, Punch. and two cats, Little Bear and Ashley. She is also survived by numerous friends.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the DARROCH MEMORI-AL CHAPEL, 2640 Mill St., Aliquippa, www.darrochfuneralhome.com, where a funeral service will be conducted on Thursday at 11 a.m.
Interment will follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
