AMORY – Cujette Ware Pearson, 76, formerly of Winona, retired seamstress, died of heart failure Saturday at Gilmore Memorial Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Lee Funeral Home in Winona with burial in Poplar Creek Nations Cemetery. She was a member of Friendship Primitive Baptist Church. Mrs. Pearson, the widow of Arbie Pearson, leaves three daughters, Peggy Vernon of Booneville, Janet Duncan of Grenada and Cynthia McGonagill of Amory; two sisters, Irene Garrett and Nora Kremser, and two brothers, Luther Ware and Waymon Ware, all of Winona, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
