LaFAYETTE — Harold Edward Ware died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2000, in an area hospital.

He was 79.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Syble Ware; a daughter, Betty Jean Lyle; and a sister, Arthel Collins.

Survivors include three daughters, LeVonda Studdard and Brenda Spence, both of LaFayette, and Sandra Stephens, Thomasville, Ga.; son, Larry Edward Ware, LaFayette; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two nieces.

The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home.

Burial will be in LaFayette Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
