LEON WARE, 93, of 3145 Maple Hill, retired mason, died of heart failure Tuesday at Graceland Nursing Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Greater Mt. Pleasant Church with burial in New Park Cemetery. Snow Funeral Home has charge. Mr. Ware leaves six daughters, Berna Clark, Earnestine Horton, Alma Shempert and Elizabeth Ware, all of Memphis, and Linda Smith and Helen Bookman, both of California; six sons, Richard Harris, James Ware, Ruben Ware and Freddie Ware, all of Memphis, and Leon Ware Jr. and Louis Ware, both of Greenville, Miss.; a brother, James Ware of Duncan, Miss., 50 grandchildren and 70 great-grandchildren.
