Robert W. Ware Jr. Obituary
SARASOTA, Florida — Robert W. Ware, Jr., 66, of Sarasota, FL, died on January 29, 2011, following a period of declining health.

He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Hayden) Ware to whom he was married for 42 years.

Bob was born in Lowell on November 19, 1944, a son of the late Robert and Margaret (Barry) Ware.

He was a graduate of Chelmsford High School and attended Lowell Technological Institute now UMASS Lowell.

Bob and Barbara raised their family in Dracut.

Prior to his retirement, he worked for many years as a salesman for Carlson Sales in Wilmington. He was a skilled mechanic, accomplished carpenter and avid sportsman. Of his many hobbies and interests, which included cycling, deep sea diving and kayaking, he was most fond of sailing. His love of the ocean brought him to Sarasota, Florida in 2002.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Chris and his wife, Lynne of Chelmsford, and Greg and his wife, Heidi of San Francisco, California; his daughter, Merry of Sarasota; and two granddaughters, Charlotte and Lulu Ware; two brothers, Barry Ware and his wife, Karen of Lowell; and Brian Ware and his wife, Deborah of Northbridge.

A memorial service will be held at a future date at the discretion of the family. Those who wish to make memorial donations in his name may do so to Life Links, Inc., 55 Middlesex Street, North Chelmsford, MA, 01863-1569.
