Joy Allen Ware Obituary, 1999

McMINNVILLE — Joy Allen Ware died Saturday, Nov. 13, 1999, in a local health care facility.

Mrs. Ware was a native of McMinn County.

She was a retired teacher, having taught in Athens and Englewood, Tenn., and at Fairview School in Warren County.

She was a member of Smyrna Church of Christ in Warren County.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl H. Ware; four sisters, Eva Rayl, Emma McKeown, Pearl Parris and Oma Wofford; four brothers, Oscar, Colmer, and Glen Allen; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.S. Allen.

Survivors include her sister, Reva Allen LaPoint, Silver Spring, Md. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at High’s Funeral Home in McMinnville, Tenn.

Visitation will be Monday from 1 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Smyrna Cemetery in Warren County, Tenn.
