Sarah Hartley was born in Pennsylvania.

On 19 Jan 1836 she was in Cincinnati, Ohio and married Kimble Ware who was the son of Isaiah Ware Sr. and Elizabeth Kimble. He was named after his mother’s maiden name.

Kimble was a riverboat and gunboat pilot. He served in the Union Navy during the Civil War and in the Ohio Infantry Regiment. He and Sarah had the following children:

Sarah was buried 7 Jan 1896 in the Wesleyan Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio.
